It is sad but true that occasionally Orientals do need to be rehomed. There may be a whole range of reasons or changes of circumstances that make this necessary. The Welfare Officer keeps a list of cats looking for new homes and also a list of prospective new owners.
Donations to our Cat Welfare Fund are always gratefully received as we try to ensure that all our rescue cats are fully vaccinated, neutered and in good general health before they go to their new home.

| We often have older cats that need a new home. This is through no fault of their own but often they are overlooked in favour of cats up to the age of around 6 yrs. However giving an older cat a home can be very rewarding, they are double the love and half the trouble of younger cats and still at the ages of 6 upwards have many years to live. | A lovely boy needing a new home. He is neutered and vaccinated and has recently lost hisfeline companion. We are looking for either a single cat home where his new owners will be home quite a bit of the time, or a kindly female cat to match him up with. He is located in Anglesey and we would like to rehome him directly from this area. He likes a quiet and peaceful life and so it would be better if there are no young children, older children or teenagers would be fine, but he needs company as he is loving a demanding. | Absolutely fabulous boy needing a home, he is 4 1/2 years old and vaccinated, microchipped and has no health problems. He needs a single cat home as he is not keen on other cats and feels threatened by them. He needs to be in a safe environment where he can go outside WITHOUT meeting up with lots of other neighbourhood cats as this has caused him to leave his past home where he was very unhappy about other cats in his area and had quite a few upsets with them He needs people who are at home quite a bit to give him companionship, he is very loving and needs to be around folk and not left on his own all day. We feel he would be better in a home without young children, so teenagers or older cat loving children would be ok. Yes, the list of requirements for this cat is quite a long but in the right home he will be a fantastic pet and companion. | One of our experienced homes if wanting an older Havana female to add to their cat family, so if you have one that you are considering rehoming, I can recommend this home wholeheartedly. They have rescued a lovely blue boy and he is very happy with them, they also have an older moggies. This is a active and newly retired couple who devote their time to their cats, an excellent home. | A beautiful Black Oriental Shorthair needing a new home, perhaps with an existing male neuter. This cat is used to living in a multicat household, she can dominant to other female cats so would be better with a male companion. She has not been used to small children. Ideally someone who is home quite a bit of the time and there must be a safe and secure garden. She is fit and healthy and has no behavioural problems. She is a loving cat who loves attention and to be with you and involved in all you are doing. She would give much love and companionship to a new owner.
